Baseball Twitter is buzzing over this mysterious fan with a curious sense of team loyalty.
Chris Hrabe, host of Sports Open Line on KMOX, tweeted the photo of a fan Wednesday wearing a St. louis Cardinals jersey with a Chicago Cubs hat as the two teams face off at Busch Stadium.
The Cardinals and the Cubs have a longstanding rivalry so ingrained in both fanbases’ psyche that it seems redundant to even try to explain it. There are no answers for us there. Instead, here’s a list of questions—from us and from Twitter:
For starters, who are you? Because the Internet is calling you the world’s worst baseball fan.
Seriously, what are you wearing?
More importantly, why are you wearing it?
Do you just like to win, even if it means supporting both teams?
