The artist Ernest Trova, long-time St. Louisan recognized internationally for his work, died Sunday night at age 82. Over at the Beacon, arts writer and associate editor Robert Duffy published this piece last evening. As it happens, SLM staff writer Jeannette Cooperman spent the past few months writing a profile of Trova (opening spread is above), which involved several conversations with the artist about his life and work.
