BUILDING A FOUNDATION OF LITERACY IN ST. LOUIS
The St. Louis Public Library Foundation supports the efforts of St. Louis Public Library (SLPL) to provide learning resources and information services that improve individual, family, and community life.
St. Louis Public Library believes literacy begins at birth. SLPL provides children their first book with Born to Read bags distributed at hospitals and medical clinics throughout the city. As children grow, the library continues to foster literacy with free programming such as storytimes at early childhood care centers, 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten, summer camps, and much more.
Support for the St. Louis Public Library Foundation helps the library address the pressing needs of the community by increasing access to crucial, free early childhood programming and outreach services.
Help St. Louis stay connected by supporting your public library today.
