Aerospace Camp
Prepare to blast off for three fun-filled days on the Missouri S&T campus. Experience aeronautics and space flight from a ground-up perspective, as you learn about the history of flight, astronomy and space exploration. Your three days will be filled with computer simulations, interactive teamwork activities and practical hands-on experiences.

Amusement Park Design Camp
Do you love thrills, chills, and exciting rides at amusement parks? Join us and learn why amusement parks are constantly looking for the best designs for their parks. In this camp, you will use engineering physics, 3D printing, CAD, and hands-on models to develop your part of our own camp amusement park.

Art of Science Camp
Join other “future” creative scientists and explore unique ways to photograph, write and create multimedia art through natural discovery at S&T’s Field Station campus.
Campers will investigate the natural wonders to be found in the Ozarks and explain their findings through writing, photography and multimedia art. Working independently and as part of a team, campers will learn about science and then express what they learn in various artistic ways. From bugs and bark, to fungi and flowers, campers will learn to see science in a different way, as well as expand their ideas of what art can be.

ASM Exploring Materials in Your World Camp
Are you a highly motivated learner with an aptitude for math and science? If you are, then you should explore your interests by spending a week at Missouri S&T's Materials Camp! You will actively explore materials science and engineering principles through a combination of mini-demonstrations, field trips and group projects. With the help of experts, you will learn how to use state-of-the-art research equipment. You will also explore career opportunities available for those in the materials and engineering fields.

CyberMiner Camp
Campers who love working with computers and digital technologies will learn about information visualization and big data, compete in an AI challenge, build and program robots, and so much more!

Is It Alive? Day Camp

Explosives Camp
The Summer Explosives Camp - the first and best camp of its kind! - provides a unique opportunity for hands-on learning experience with explosives. Participants will experience a variety of demonstrations, presentations, projects, and handling and shooting explosives. Camp culminates in the setup and shooting of a fireworks display.

Jackling Introduction to Engineering Camp
During Jackling Introduction to Engineering, you'll be introduced to a variety of engineering fields with demonstrations and activities related to each discipline. You will learn about what engineers do, what tools they use and how the various engineering fields affect everyday life. Engineering and science groups will present brief overviews of their areas of focus and the exciting technological challenges on which their graduates work.

Leading For Tomorrow Camp
Students will engage in interactive activities and experiences to explore, develop, and reflect on adaptive leadership, resiliency building, crucial conversations, immunity to change, and various other leadership practices. Students will gain knowledge to reflect on and apply to their own experiences, exploring how to be active leaders for tomorrow.

Mechanical Crash Course Camp
Have you ever wondered how everyday products are designed? Are you interested in making smart devices and products? Then the mechanical crash course is the camp for you. You will design an autonomous product with high school math and science knowledge. You will see a product’s design cycle, from project definition to test. Campers will use the full mechanical workshop with a CNC machining center and tools to bring the product prototype to life.

Minority Introduction to STEM-MI-STEM Camp

Robotics Camp
Come to campus ready to learn the basic principles of robotics at this hands-on camp, which includes electronics, sensors, motor and servo control, programming and control techniques as well as robotics applications in today’s society. Using the LEGO® Mindstorms™ Robotics Invention System, teams of participants will have the opportunity to invent, design, build, and program robots while learning the basic structure of computer programming.

Space – The Final Frontier
Are you ready for an intense hands-on challenge to design, build, and fly a small satellite? S&T's Space the Final Frontier Camp is unlike anything you have ever experienced. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to encounter the edge of outer space.
Your math and science skills will be used to design and construct a small spacecraft to be launched on a high-altitude balloon to 100,000 feet. The camp will conclude with a high-altitude balloon launch.

The Sound of Miners
