Friends of Kids with Cancer

Friends of Kids with Cancer is devoted to enriching the daily lives of children undergoing treatment for, and survivors of, cancer and blood-related diseases in the St. Louis area. Established in 1992, the charity's mission is to be an advocate for these special kids, providing them and their families with the educational, emotional, and recreational support needed as a result of the long hours of chemotherapy, illness, and isolation. Friends of Kids with Cancer offers many different programs and services to families—from tutoring and testing, art therapy and other psychological services, to special events and toy giveaways. Services are not only available to patients, but also siblings and parents, supporting the entire family system during treatment and beyond.
