Foundry Art Camp provides children ages 6–16 the opportunity to engage with art and activities that encourage creative collaboration, develop artistic skills, and showcase the innovative ways that art impacts the world. Campers will explore art through the Foundry’s exhibitions, art history, and conversations with the Foundry’s studio artists. From painting to sculpture and tie-dying to clay, campers will create artwork to take home and share with family and friends. Their exploration and experience with differenta rtistic disciplines will nurture their creative talent.
The Foundry’s week-long, full-day Art Camps are taught by experienced art teachers that help to cultivate a classroom of trust and artistic development. Students will be divided based on age, and all materials are provided. Registration includes a camp T-shirt and exciting sessions of climbing and team building at Climb So iLL. At the Foundry Art Camp, campers can choose from different artistic mediums, from clay and paint to STEAM, and the newest offering: History of Theatre. This session will take campers on a week-long journey of theater that includes Greek mask making, set design, and physical and vocal warm-ups.
