St. Vincent Home for Children is a nonprofit organization committed to building a thriving community invested in the transformational power of youth. The 172-year-old organization is led by executive director and licensed clinical social worker Latosha Fowlkes. St. Vincent’s mission is to help youth facing significant life challenges through love, security, and therapeutic supports that enable them to improve their lives, their families, and the community. The team of experts at St. Vincent works closely with community partners to provide a wide continuum of services to youth ages 10–19. Services are free of charge, accessible 24 hours a day, and include safe temporary housing, transitional living, community behavioral health services, and a newly-developed street outreach program and drop-in center. St. Vincent will host its 31st annual Kookin’ for Kids event on August 7 at the Four Seasons Downtown St. Louis. Visit the website at saintvincenthome.org for more details.
