A St. Louis bride is joined by six attendants and one young miss amid a backdrop of flowers, candles and ferns. A photographer from Schweig Studios snapped the shot. Wedding styles welcomed an individual flair during the ’20s. During this time, some brides wore an intermission hemline, where the dress length was shorter in the front and longer in the back. Many brides also opted for dresses in a soft pink or blue; often wore their hair in a short, neat “bob” and chose a bright red lipstick for the perfect pout.
