One of those instructors is Kimberly Cooper, from Gold’s Gym. She’ll be teaching BODYVIVE3.1, a class that mixes strength, cardio, and core training to burn hundreds of calories per class. Find the entire schedule of fitness classes here: Be Well STL Boot Camp class schedule.
We asked Cooper about BODYVIVE3.1, how she stays healthy, what she loves about being an instructor, and more. Read her answers below, and join us at Be Well STL Boot Camp on June 25 to see her in action.
What's your favorite thing about being an instructor? The opportunity to give people an outlet to spend time on themselves. I love to motivate and encourage our members workout for their own personal benefit.
What keeps you motivated to keep showing up class after class? Hearing the stories from our members on how class participation has helped with depression, built confidence, and contributed towards weight loss goals.
What do you love about the exercise you teach? The benefits and the results that I've personally experienced from this format and have seen a change in others.
Why choose BODYVIVE3.1 instead of another style of exercise? The format offers the opportunity to work at different levels and still get the full benefits of the 3-in-1 workout of cardio, strengthening, and core.
How do you stay healthy in body and mind? Exercise plays a huge role in keeping my mind at ease and pushing away stress. Massages are a special treat, but maintaining a healthy diet and my spiritual focus are important factors for me as well.
What do you hope your students get out of your classes/training? The feeling of accomplishment, support, and the encouragement to come back and be hungry for more!
