Trailnet's 2014 Beans, Bikes & Brews
What: Trailnet’s annual Beans, Bikes & Brews party
When: March 7 from 6 until 9 p.m.
Where: T-Rex, downtown at 911 Washington Ave. Cool new coworking space and tech incubator. You can park your bike indoors—just bring a lock.
Why: to announce Trailnet’s 2015 event calendar and programs
Subtext: to make walking and biking a way of life in St. Louis
Lure: live music from the Bottoms Up Blues Gang
Reward: Chili, both meaty and meatless
Cost: $5 if you bring a side dish to share; $10 if you don’t. Free to all children and all 2014 Trailnet volunteers. Beer, wine, and soda available for a donation, and please don’t bring your own.
Bonus: raffle prizes, including a balance bike for kids
Crowd: usually tops 300
Closest Metrolink stop: Convention Center. (Public transit and bike info in an event listing…that’s progress already.)
