If you're entering your sunset years, or know someone who is, a new study shows that St. Louis might be a good place to stay.
In Milken's "Best Cities for Successful Aging" study, the Milken group used more than 70 factors, such as transportation, health care, living arrangements and community engagement, to determine rankings. St. Louis fell at No. 26 in the top 100 metropolitan areas in the U.S., placing it ahead of other cities such as Los Angeles, Kansas City, and Miami. St. Louis scored in the top 20 for financial and transportation, including No. 1 for the mean fare for transportation for individuals over the age of 65. Click HERE to see all the St. Louis stats.
