Many summer camps for children are canceled or delayed. Whether your young one wants to explore space, learn how to decorate cookies, or learn some new dance moves, here is a list of virtual camps that span age groups and abilities, keeping kids learning and engaged.

1. e-volvedLIFE is offering camps for all abilities and special needs including Autism. Camps include safari exploring, storybook dramatization, and arts and crafts activities. Each camp has 10 camper spots and is two hours per day over five day periods. Camps cost $50. e-volvedLIFE is also encouraging small businesses to collaborate with them to expand their camp offerings.

2. Bake350 is hosting live, online workshops that build baking skills one class at a time. They offer the option to join the live classes or schedule individual private classes. The workshops will be conducted through Zoom by Lizzy and Katie Reisinger. Participants will be taken through recipes step-by-step to ensure baking success.

3. Little Medical School is offering some of its camps online. In the veterinarian themed camp, children the ages of 6-10 will learn about cleaning their dogs' ears, perform a nose to tail exam, and learn interesting facts about dogs. Children ages 6–10 in the pediatrician camp will learn about healthy snacks for babies, how to feed and burp a baby, baby milestones, and baby’s check-ups. There are also wilderness medicine and sports medicine themed camps in their online offerings.
4. Lego lovers should look into Bricks 4 Kidz online building camps, with various themes such as Minecraft, Pokémon, and more. Building kits are sold separately through Bricks 4 Kidz, providing the materials for the camp at home.
5. Mad Science is offering camps for “Space Alien Travelers,” “Mad Science Rocketry,” “Secret Agent Lab,” and “Mad Inventors” for ages 5–12. Classes range from $145–$150 and include materials to use at home.
6. ID Tech Camp offers students a glimpse into collegiate classroom life. Led by top tech instructors, students build in-demand skills for futures in coding, game development, robotics, creative arts, and more. Classes are Monday through Friday and include a balanced schedule of 2 hours of live instruction and 2 hours of self-paced project development per day. The camp fee is $399 with code 'TOGETHER' (which will save $100).
7. Campers will learn from the best with Varsity Tutors, which is offering free online classes as part of their Virtual School Day initiative. The all-star teachers include gymnast and gold medalist Aly Raisman, dancer Julianne Hough, and astronaut Leland Melvin. Their goal is to help parents fill their kids' day with enriched learning and to help keep students from sliding academically during COVID-19 school cancellations.
8. If you don’t want to wait until summer to engage your young children in a virtual activity, Robert’s Music Together class is currently running the spring session through mid-June. Classes are recorded and posted to a password secure site, so it is easy to catch up. Designed for infants through 5-year-olds, Music Together classes are something the whole family can enjoy. Tuition is currently reduced to $125 per family and includes an illustrated songbook and CD.
