June 2-4 - Mary Poppins
LifeLight Youth Theatre, a not-for-profit youth organization for performing arts, presents Disney's popular musical, Mary Poppins. $12 for ages 3 and up (Children 2 and under are free). June 4-5 - Kimmswick Strawberry Festival
Come for the strawberry jam—more than 1,000 jars of the jam’s secret family recipe are sold at the event—but stay for the petting zoo, bounce houses, face painting, live music, and other family-friendly activities at the annual Kimmswick Strawberry Festival. The town closes its streets to outside traffic so festival-goers can walk, shop, and eat in the four-by-four-block city center. Don’t miss the strawberry-shaped lemonade stand! Free. June 4 - Green Homes Festival
Bring the entire family to the 15th Annual sustainability festival hosted by Earth Ways Center. Activities such as recycled art projects, solar model cars, and solar oven s’mores will be available for children as well as presentations and demonstrations. June 5 - Paddling Day
Grab your swimsuit and head southwest to Missouri Kids Unplugged, a non-profit organization geared toward exposing kids to the great outdoors. They will have stand up paddle boards, kayaks, and safety gear available for using along with professional instructors. Free. 7440 State Highway B, Dittmer, Missouri. June 5 - Picnic in the Park
Round out your weekend with a sunday evening festival in Clayton. Local singer-songwriter Javier Mendoza will perform at the event. Children can enjoy the Bubble Bus, bounce houses, lawn games, and crafts by Perennial. Food trucks will be on-site to purchase food and drinks.
