May 1: Roller Coaster Race
Runners and roller coaster riders alike can participate in a 5K at Six Flags this Sunday. Both a 5K run/walk and 10K start at 7:30 a.m., with refreshments, a DJ, and awards afterward. (Not to mention an hour of exclusive ride time, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.) Throughout the day, visitors can also ride roller coasters to complete a total of 5K—16,405 feet, or about seven rides—and receive a custom medal.
