April 14: Stingrays at Caribbean Cove
Say "cheese" as you welcome the stingrays home for the season, because now you get an underwater photo taken as you interact with the sea life in the zoo's Caribbean Cove. Admission is free the first hour the zoo is open—then it's $4 per person, with children under 2 free. Members can use Anywhere Plus passes for admission. Food for stingrays is $1 per cup. 1 Government.
April 15: Woodland Wonderland
Take your kids on an adventure through the English Woodlands at the Missouri Botanical Garden. Woodland Wonderland is part of the special Great Green Adventure series held every month at the garden for kids ages 6–12. Kids will learn about woodland plants with hands-on activities, stories, and games. No RSVP required. $3 per child. Members are free. Two sessions: 10:30–11:30 a.m. or 1:30–2:30 p.m. 4344 Shaw.
April 15: Grant's Farm Opening Day
It's goat time! Grant's Farm is opening for the season this Saturday with a special visit from the Budweiser Clydesdale eight-horse hitch. Have a fun day petting and feeding the animals, watching the shows, and sampling the free beer—for guests over 21, of course. Admission is free. Parking is $12 per car. April 15: Family Fun Day at Ballpark Village
Team Fredbird is throwing a carnival, and you're invited. Stop by Ballpark Village on Saturday for Family Fun Day with inflatables, rides, a fun house, kid activities, face painting, and balloon artists. Admission is free. All-access wristbands for premium activities are $10 per kid, with all proceeds to benefit St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. Noon–5 p.m. 601 Clark Avenue.
April 15: SciFest
Spark your older kid's interest in science with SciFest this Saturday at the Saint Louis Science Center. Kids can meet a neuroscientist and learn about the human brain. The event includes the Amazing Brain Carnival and fun activities to learn how to keep your brain safe and healthy. Free. 9:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. 5050 Oakland.
