May 27-29: Missouri River Irish Festival
The entire family is invited to enjoy Irish culture, music, and dance at the annual celebration of St. Charles and its sister city, Carndonagh, Donegal, Ireland. A traditional full Irish breakfast is served on Sunday. The Children's Village will have face painting, crafts, bingo, dancing and a special time to meet an Irish Dancer. May 27-29: Discover Niña & Pinta
Replicas of Christopher Columbus' ships will be open to the public for self-guided tours. The Niña replica was built completely by hand and without the use of power tools. Emmy-award-winning storyteller Bobby Norfolk will be reading his family-friendly stories during this special one-hour event. Bring a chair or blanket, enjoy free pizza from Master Pieza and ice cream from I Scream Cakes. In the event of rain, the storytime will move indoors to I Scream Cakes (2641 Cherokee).
