December 22–25: Winterfest at the Meadows
Finish your holiday shopping (with free gift wrapping), enjoy a complimentary carriage ride, and take the kids for a spin around the rink at this mall's Winterfest. Carriage rides will be offered on Friday and Saturday, and ice skating is open all weekend—even on Christmas Day. 20 Meadows Circle.
December 22–25: Santa's Magical Kingdom
Need a little more holiday spirit? Santa's Magical Kingdom is open every evening, including Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. (Just tell the kids Santa is taking last minute requests.) The campground-turned-North Pole has lights, animatronics, and photo ops in Kringle's General Store. 5300 Fox Creek.
December 22–25: Candy Cane Lane
This over-the-top home decorating extravaganza in south St. Louis remains open to visitors through Christmas night, so pile the kids in the car and tune into some festive carols. The St. Louis Sage investigated the history of the light display last month. 6500 block of Murdoch.
December 22–25: Steinberg Skating Rink in Forest Park
The city's favorite ice rink is open through the holidays, so skate those sugar cookies off at Steinberg. 400 Jefferson.
December 22–25: Way of Lights
Don't miss a drive through one of the region's best Christmas light shows. Visit before Christmas Eve to enjoy the petting zoo, camel ride, kid's crafts, and s'more roasting. You can still drive through the lights for free on December 24 and 25, but the extra activities will be closed. 442 S. DeMazenod.
