May 25: Food Trucks at Grant's Farm

May 26: Animals of the Park Stargazing Experience at the Gateway Arch
Experience the night sky in a new way at the Gateway Arch National Park. Park rangers will lead a twilight chat about animals who call the Arch home. Then check out the stars and planets via telescope with the St. Louis Astronomical Society. 8–10 p.m. Free. South Leg of the Arch.
May 26–27: Forts and Clubhouses featuring TapeScape at The Magic House
Do your kids love blanket forts—but you don't like the mess? Then put your kids' engineering skills to the test at The Magic House, where they can use everyday items to make the ultimate fort. This year's event includes a new twist: TapeScape, a play space made almost entirely out of tape through which kids can crawl. Fort and Clubhouses will be open all summer long. May 26–28: St. Louis African Arts Festival
Celebrate the culture, art, and food of African people at this annual festival in Forest Park. There will be folk art demonstrations, kid crafts, and the Safari Teens Hut for young people 13 to 19. Free. See website for times and details. Forest Park World's Fair Pavilion.
May 27: Fantastic Flying Falcons at the World Bird Sanctuary
Join the World Bird Sanctuary falcons (and their handlers) at Buder Park, where they can really stretch their wings. Kids can learn about falconry while watching birds perform amazing flying demonstrations. 4 p.m. $10 for adults, $5 for kids under 12. Tickets available online. Buder Park, 215 Valley Park.
