March 30–April 1: Morpho Mardi Gras to Spring Fling at the Butterfly House
Flutter on by the Butterfly House for the last weekend of Morpho Mardi Gras and the first day of Spring Fling. Mardi Gras wraps up on March 31, but the fun continues in April as they host kid activities centered around native plants and spring pollinators. March 31: MAKEbreak Easter Slime at Michaels
Who can get enough slime? Not your kids! Bring them to any Michaels location Saturday, and make some custom Easter slime in a cute container. Slime is pre-made and the event is free. 1–3 p.m. Michaels Stores.
April 1: Enrichment Eggstravaganza at the Saint Louis Zoo
Kids aren't the only ones who enjoy Easter goodies—so do animals! Drop by the zoo to watch animals around the park, from penguins to elephants, participate in "egg hunts" just for them. Check the zoo website to find out when your favorite animal will get its treat. Kids activities will be held at the Schnuck Family Plaza from 11 a.m.–3 p.m. Free. 9 a.m.–4 p.m. One Government Drive.
April 1: Opening Day at Suson Park
It's no joke: Suson Park's animal farm is open for the season. Come out to this 99-acre historic farm-turned-county-park and see the farm animals, do a little fishing, and then hit the playground. Free. 10:30 a.m.–5 p.m. Suson Park, 6073 Wells.
