Through March 30: Sea Lion Spring Training
March 16–18: Springtime Village at Purina Farms
Head out to the country, and welcome spring in the cuddliest way possible—with baby animals! The farm is open for the season and bursting with baby farm animals. Plus, enjoy a scavenger egg hunt, wagon rides, and an activity area with carnival games and inflatables. There will be live music and food trucks on the weekends. 9:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m. Admission is free, RSVP required. $5 to enter activity area, $5 to park. March 16–18: Sea Lion Spring Training Shows at the Saint Louis Zoo
The Cardinals aren't the only ones in spring training. Head out to the Saint Louis Zoo to watch the sea lions warm up their act for the 2018 season. Shows at 1 and 2:30 p.m. $2 per person, kids under 2 free. Zoo members can use Anywhere passes. Saint Louis Zoo, 1 Government Drive.
March 16: Free Family Nights at The Magic House
Fun is better when it's free. Head out to The Magic House this Friday for a once-a-month free evening of magical fun. Limited to 2 adults and 4 children per family. 5:30–9 p.m. The Magic House, 516 S. Kirkwood.
March 17–18: Easter Egg-Citement at Eckert's
Hop down the bunny trail at Eckert's orchards. Enjoy the first egg hunt of the season at Eckert's with baby chicks, bunnies, and a photo op with the Easter Bunny himself. Admission also includes a seed to plant and take home, plus a cookie to decorate. Timed hunts on the hour are divided into age groups. 9 a.m.–3 p.m. Admission is $12 per child. March 17: St. Patrick's Day Parade
Celebrate St. Patrick's Day as 5,000 marchers and 120 units parade through downtown St. Louis. The parade begins at 20th and Market streets, and ends at Broadway and Clark streets. 1 p.m. Visit IrishParade.org for more info.
