February 24: Winter Wonders at Kirkwood Park

Dr. Seuss's big birthday is coming up. Celebrate with a special evening story time at Barnes and Noble with a reading of The Cat in the Hat, coloring, activities, and more. 11 a.m. All locations of Barnes and Noble.
February 24: George Washington's 1858 Birthday Ball
Party like it's 1858 at the Old Courthouse in honor of our nation's first president. Families are welcome to "come as you are" and learn nineteenth-century dance, then experience a "birthday ball" with live music from the Independent Silver Band. Hot cider and cookies will be served. February 25: Open Play at Simple Positive Play
Simple Positive Play is working with the city of Ferguson to provide free educational play space for North County kids. Come check out the foam climbers, ball pit, LEGOs, dress-up clothes, and craft room. Children from newborn to third grade are welcome to play. A caregiver must stay to supervise the children.
