One lucky family will take home this luxury playhouse when it is raffled off at 3 p.m. on October 18, during Playhouses in the Park, the grand finale weekend event of the Raise the Roof project. In an effort to raise money for the planned BJC Hospice House, local nonprofit Friends of Wings hosted Raise the Roof, a public display of 30 imaginative playhouses at area malls. The free event on October 17 and 18 is being held near The Muny. A $20 raffle ticket buys you a chance to win the ultimate playhouse donated by McBride & Son Homes. The 19-foot-wide, 7-foot-deep playhouse features an attached garage large enough for a Big Wheel. Soon your kids will be having you over for dinner.
