February 3: Fit Kid: Free Kid at The Magic House

February 4: Big Eyes, Big Minds International Children's Film Festival
The Saint Louis Zoo presents a fun and furry international film fest for kids. The short films are aimed at children ages 2–7 and feature stories about friendship. After the film, kids can do crafts and activities inspired by the animals on screen. Tickets are $10 and available online and at the door. 9:30–11:30 a.m. The Living World/North Entrance. 1 Government.
February 4: National Ice Cream for Breakfast Day at Serendipity
Here's a holiday that your kids will love: National Ice Cream for Breakfast Day! Youngsters can wear their pajamas to Serendipity Homemade Ice Cream for scoops of fun, a PJ contest, and prizes. Doors open at 8 a.m. 8130 Big Bend.
February 4: Family Day: Wear & Share
Make a mask, crown, or medal to wear while learning how to play chess at the World Chess Hall of Fame's Family Day. The event is for kids ages 5–12 and includes a tour of exhibits. RSVP is recommended. Free for members, $5 per child for non-members. Sessions will occur at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. 4652 Maryland.
February 5: Hat Fancy
Discover the history of crowns and other fancy headdresses at the Saint Louis Art Museum. Kids can make their own fabulous headwear and take a family tour of the museum to find fancy hats in the collection. Free. 1–4 p.m. Tour leaves at 2:30 p.m. 1 Fine Arts.
