February 24–26: Peter and the Starcatcher
Before Peter became the Boy Who Never Grew Up, he was just Peter the orphan. Families will love this hilarious prequel to the classic story, based on a novel for young adults by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson. Tickets are $2 for kids 2–5, $8 for seniors and students, $10 for adults. O'Fallon Municipal Centre (100 N. Main).
February 25–26: Elephant and Piggie: We are in a Play
Kennedy Center on Tour presents a musical romp for your kids based on Mo Willems’ beloved children’s books. The 60-minute show at COCA (524 Trinity) will get kids involved in the action as they learn important lessons in sharing with Elephant and Piggie. Tickets are $16–20. Performances at 1 and 5 p.m. both days.
February 26: Art in Bloom
Visit the Saint Louis Art Museum this weekend to see 35 works of art reimagined as floral displays. On Sunday, kids can make their own floral art, enjoy storytelling, and meet some of their favorite storybook characters. Family events are free. Noon–4 p.m. 1 Fine Arts.
February 26: International Polar Bear Day
Learn all about the polar bears, including how kids can help polar bears right here in St. Louis. The event will include games for the kids, keeper chats, and special enrichment activities for Kali, our resident polar bear. Free. 10 a.m.–2 p.m. 1 Government.
