December 5–March 4: 50 Years of Blood, Sweat and Cheers—A Tribute to the St. Louis Blues and their Fans
Celebrate 50 years of the St. Louis Blues at the Central Library. The exhibit, which opened earlier this week, recreates the arena's ice rink, complete with dasher boards, goalie net, a team locker room, and tons of fan memorabilia. Visitors can also see player jerseys, game-used sticks, and a replica statue of Glenn Hall. Free. 1301 Olive.
December 9–11: The Little Dancer: J’Adore Paris!
COCA’s Ballet Eclectica presents a story about a girl who dreams of exploring Paris with Degas’ The Little Dancer. The holiday classic is just an hour long and performed by COCA students in the pre-professional division. Join the COCA dancers for a tea party after the Sunday performance. $14-18. 524 Trinity.
December 9–11: Winter Celebrations
The Saint Louis Art Museum invites your family to celebrate the season this weekend with crafts, cookies, culture, and choirs. Enjoy dance performances, a tree lighting in the sculpture garden, hot cocoa, and more. Free. 1 Fine Arts.
December 10: Ginger's Birthday
Ginger the orangutan is turning two, and she's inviting you to the party. The Saint Louis Zoo will host children's activities in the Jungle of the Apes and give an enrichment birthday cake to the birthday girl. 11 a.m.–2 p.m. 1 Government.
December 11: Brunch with Santa and Fredbird
It's a holiday home run with Santa and Fredbird at Cardinals Nation Restaurant & Bar in Ballpark Village. There will be activities, photos with Santa, and crafts for kids—plus waffles, eggs, prime rib, and bottomless mimosas and Bloody Marys for mom and dad. The event includes free admission to the Cardinals Hall of Fame & Museum. 10 a.m.–2 p.m. $40 for adults. $15 children ages 3–11. 700 Clark.
