December 2–4: That Christmas Lights House

December 2–3: Christmas Candlelight
Stroll through an old-fashioned Christmas light show with thousands of candles at the Historic Daniel Boone Home at Lindenwood Park. Kids will enjoy stories, music, and a visit with Daniel Boone himself as he talks about Christmas on the frontier. Register online. 6–10:30 p.m. 1868 Highway F.
December 2–4: Christmas in Kimmswick
Historic Kimmswick (25 miles south of St. Louis) is decked out for Christmas with candle light. Visit the shops, listen to carolers, and ride in a horse-drawn carriage. Mrs. Claus is hosting cookie decorating at the Blue Owl and kids can write a letter to Santa. 10 a.m. –9 p.m. Friday and Saturday. 10 a.m.–6 p.m. Sunday. Various locations.
December 3: Breakfast with Santa
Hang out with the Jolly Old Elf at Red Robin in Des Peres for a special breakfast buffet. Kids will receive a holiday goodie bag, keepsake photo, and craft project. Adults can enjoy raffle prizes while kids can enjoy face painting and a coloring contest. 9–10 a.m. 13001 Manchester.
December 3–4: Gingerbread House Workshop
At Eckert's Country Store, get a little help building that perfect gingerbread house. Eckert's provides all of the supplies and your kids add the creativity. 10 a.m.–4 p.m. 951 South Green Mount.
