Many of us have held in a cough for fear of disturbing a movie or a live production. But for parents of young children or ones who have difficulty staying quiet, sitting without a peep for an entire show can be a challenge—impossible even.
The Saint Louis Ballet had this frustration in mind when they created their 'no-shushing' performance of The Nutcracker, showing at 11 a.m. next Wednesday, December 19.
The production will be shorter, but is packing in everything we love about the original. From vibrant costumes to elaborate sets to all of those sugar plums. The Saint Louis Ballet's regular showings are December 12–23.
If the extra noise isn't for you, The Nutcracker, is playing all over the city this month, including on ice in Webster Groves and with the Alexandra Ballet at Logan University's Pursue Center in Chesterfield.
