A beloved St. Louis holiday tradition is gearing up for the 2017 season.
Tickets for The Polar Express Train Ride, located at St. Louis Union Station, are now on sale online. (This popular event usually sells out, so we suggest booking tickets as soon as possible.) The train begins running from the station to the "North Pole" on November 24 and will operate through December 30.
Before the train ride, Santa and his helpers will greet passengers and give kiddos a silver sleigh bell. During the train ride, passengers can enjoy a ride set to the film's soundtrack, caroling, and hot chocolate and cookies.
Trains run every day except Christmas and depart at 4:30, 6, 7:15, and 8:30 p.m. Parents can choose from two classes of service: coach (starting at $39) and first-class (starting at $65). In first-class, passengers will receive a Polar Express mug and be seated on train cars with four-top tables.
