At last Sunday's Howl-O-Ween Pet Parade in the Delmar Loop, dogs dressed as doughnuts, firefighters, and the occasional lion or two strutted down the street.
Starting with a check-in at Craft Alliance, those participating paraded to the Moonrise Hotel. Judges Rene Knott of KSDK, Mak of 105.7, and Elvis gave out prizes for which pup was was funniest, scariest, most original, made the best owner-and-pet duo, and made up the best group. A suggested donation of $5 per pet and other proceeds went to the Gateway Pet Guardians.
