New Year's Eve Fireworks Display and Carriage Rides at Westport Plaza
If the kids can’t stay up late for midnight fireworks, Westport Plaza has you covered with a 6 p.m. display followed by complimentary carriage rides. Rides are first come, first serve at the plaza in front of St. Louis Bread Co. 6–9:30 p.m. December 31. Free.
Fire & Ice at Webster Groves Recreation Complex
Ring in the new year with ice skating, basketball, pickleball, Wii, and evening fireworks at the Webster Groves Recreation Complex. 6–8:30 p.m. December 31. $5 at the door.
Winterfest at Gateway Arch
Head down to the Luther Ely Smith Square for a family-friendly New Year’s Eve under the Arch. You can enjoy ice skating, food trucks, music, and entertainment by Circus Kaput. Then at 8 p.m., watch a big fireworks show on the Mississippi. 11 a.m.–8:30 p.m. December 31. Free admission. $12 skate rental for adults and $7 for kids.
Downtown Kirkwood Winter Fireworks Festival
Enjoy New Year’s Day fireworks and fun in downtown Kirkwood. Festivities begin at 5 p.m., with fireworks at 6:30 p.m. January 1. Free.
