March 10: Leprechaun Shenanigans
Get ready for leprechaun hijinks at the St. Charles City-County Library. Kids can do crafts and St. Patrick's Day-themed activities. Free. RSVP required. 3–4 p.m. 1200 Corporate (Wentzville).
March 11: Lucky Leprechaun Hunt
A rainbow has dropped "gold coins" in Vlasis Park, and the leprechauns are asking for help to collect them. Kids ages 2–5 can hunt for the coins with a chance to win candy and prizes. Tickets are $4–6. RSVP required. 11 a.m.–noon. 14811 Manchester (Ballwin).
March 11: St. Patrick’s Day Parade
Takes kids to one of the top St. Paddy's Day parades in the country. There will be 120 units, floats, and 5,000 marchers. The parade starts at 20th and Market and proceeds east to Broadway and Clark. Free. Noon.
March 11: Leprechaun Village
Start the festivities early with a visit to family-friendly Leprechaun Village before the big parade. Kids can watch the parade balloons inflate, hang out with super heroes, watch Irish dancers, and jump around bounce houses. Leprechaun Village is located inside Shamrock Village, an entertainment zone open before, during, and after the parade. Events start at 9 a.m. Aloe Plaza.
Whole Foods invites kids to a mini St. Pat's parade and Shamrock Hunt through their Town & Country store. Kids will make a shamrock shaker, play games with i-9 Sports, and hunt for paper shamrocks.
