On Saturday, September 30th at 5 p.m., Webster United Methodist Church invites you to a Welcome Neighbor STL Drive Thru dinner to support immigrant and refugee families in St. Louis.
These meals present an opportunity for immigrant and refugee families to share knowledge and skills unique to them. It is also an opportunity for us to get a glimpse into their culture. These fundraising efforts can set them on a path of greater independence and confidence in their lives here in the USA.
Drive up to pick up your to go dinner on Saturday, September 30th from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Webster United Methodist Church, 600 N. Bompart Ave. Webster Groves, MO 63119.
The menu is $35 and contains:
HUMMUS:
A dip made of chickpeas, garlic, lemon, tahini, and olive oil. Served with pita bread.
YALANJI:
A grape leaves stuffed with rice, Mediterranean spices, and lemon juice..
TABOULEH:
A finely chopped salad made with parsley, lettuce, tomato, cucumber and bulgur. Mixed with lemon juice and olive oil.
CHICKEN SHAWARMA SANDWICH:
Chicken, mayonnaise, and pickles, wrapped in pita bread.
BAKLAVA:
A rich, sweet dessert pastry made of layers of filo filled with chopped pistachios or walnuts and held together with honey and sugar syrup.

Our programs include family partnering, ESL tutoring, and an option to volunteer with our cooking class, drive-thru events or catering events.
