Story Hour – Washington University Cognition and Development Lab
10 – 10:45am, Free, Reservations not required
With Diane Van Booven, Kids Club Coordinator
During this fun story hour, an employee from the Cognition and Development Lab at Washington University will read stories to the kids. The Cognition and Development Lab is part of the Psychological and Brain Sciences Department at Washington University. The lab studies how young children learn about the world around them with special interest in social dynamics and the development of optimism. After a story is read to the kids, they will talk to parents about the research conducted at the lab, what a typical lab visit entails and some of the lab’s recent findings. During that time, kids will make a fun craft as well.
