Join the Day of Reparations to African People conference on Sunday October 22nd, 1 p.m. CT at the Uhuru Solidarity Center, 2654 Gravois Ave., featuring African People's Socialist Party Chairman Omali Yeshitela, African People's Solidarity Committee Chairwoman Penny Hess and Uhuru Solidarity Movement Chair Jesse Nevel- the "Uhuru 3" indicted by the U.S. government on bogus charges of being Russian agents.
Voices around the world are speaking out to demand that the U.S. government drop the charges against the Uhuru 3, with organizations and individuals across the political and ideological spectrum denouncing this vicious attack on free speech rights.
In a precedent-setting motion to dismiss the charges, Uhuru 3 attorney Leonard Goodman described the indictment as “a prosecution that strikes to the heart of the First Amendment.” This will not be a repeat of the 1960s; the African Revolution will win.
Join this campaign to defy the U.S. government’s attempt to once again destroy the Black Revolution as they did in the 1960s, when the FBI waged a reign of terror and murder against the leaders and organizations of the Black Power movement, with a notorious, brutal counterinsurgency program known as COINTELPRO. Stand in Solidarity with Black Power and African liberation!
Hosted by the Uhuru Solidarity Movement- an organization of white people created by and working under the leadership of the African People's Socialist Party, building a mass movement of reparations and justice for African and colonized people around the world. uhurusolidarity.org
Donate to our pledge of $30,000 to Black Star Industries- the APSP's programs & institutions that are building political & economic power in the hands of the Black working class. apspuhuru.org
