Altogether Beautiful Ministries
The 2022 Altogether Beautiful Women's Conference centers on "Meant for More: Discovering God's Design for Sex".
Altogether Beautiful Ministries, a nonprofit dedicated to the education, encouragement, and empowerment of women, is hosting its first-ever Women’s Conference Friday, August 19 – Saturday, August 20, 2022. This year’s conference, centered around the topic “Meant for More: Discovering God’s Design for Sex,” focuses on how to battle shame, embrace true intimacy, and have more fun in the bedroom.
Attendees will learn from nationally recognized thought leaders and experts during two keynote sessions, six breakout session options, and a Q&A panel answering some of the biggest questions submitted during the conference about sex. Topics covered range from the female body, communication in and out of the bedroom, talking to kids about sex, singleness and sexuality, sexual dysfunction, shame surrounding sex, and making sex fun for both.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, August 19 with the conference occurring from 6:30 – 9:00 p.m. Doors open at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 20 with the conference occurring from 8 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. The Altogether Beautiful Women’s Conference will take place at The Realm, 4072 Old Highway 94 S, St. Charles, MO 63304. Tickets are $40 per person and are available for women over the age of 18 who are married, engaged, or single.
Stemming from the taboo nature of discussing sex and sexuality in church settings, many women are often left with questions that go unanswered and are given conflicting messages surrounding their bodies and God-given sexuality, resulting in shame and marital stressors. Apart from the occasional sermon on fleeing temptation and instructions on what not to do before marriage, the church is frequently silent on matters of sexuality. Altogether Beautiful Ministries aims to reverse these harmful barriers through the lens of scripture to allow women to fully enjoy their bodies and sexuality as God intended at any life stage.
“I often get asked if we really need to talk about this in the church, and my answer is wholeheartedly yes,” said Paige Baldwin, Altogether Beautiful Ministries founder. “Our core ‘why’ for addressing sexuality centers around three key principles: God created sex to be enjoyed by His children; the world is already talking about sex, so it does more harm than good by the church staying silent on the topic; and marriages suffer when sex isn’t taught in the appropriate context. I’m thrilled that we are hosting this inaugural conference so that women can come and learn about God’s design for sex and to truly experience this beautiful gift He has given us.”
Altogether Beautiful Ministries was formed with the goal to improve access to and promote healing surrounding sexuality, mental health, and fear with a biblical approach. Each year, the Meant for More conference will address one of these three critical topics. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit www.altogetherbeautifulministries.org.
