A blaring fire alarm dissuaded no one from boarding the elevator to get into Mandarin Lounge to welcome St. Louis Magazine's new Editor-in-Chief, Stephen Schenkenberg. Once inside, friends and fans of the magazine mingled, reveling in the opportunity to catch up with old friends and chat with Mr. Schenkenberg. The excited buzz trailed off well into the evening, effectively drowning out that fire alarm which, luckily, only signaled a hot party.
