The brainchild of Amit Dhawan of Synergy Productions, the festival has grown into one of the largest whiskey celebrations in the country. One reason for its popularity is its appeal to both whiskey novices and aficionados. With more than 400 offerings, Dhawan's claim to have "something for everyone" is no idle boast. In addition to the grand tastings, the event held on November 17, featured seminars by industry experts, whiskey-themed food stations created by Hyatt chefs, and top-shelf whiskey cocktails from St. Louis’ leading mixologists.
