Starting July 11th the Saint Louis Art Museum’s Outdoor Film Series returns for four weeks with movies St. Louisans love. This series is a perfect Friday night activity for the whole family, and it is free to attend. This summer the featured films include Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Funny Face, Field of Dreams, and Meet Me in St. Louis.
You can pack a picnic or come early to enjoy a wide selection of food trucks that will start serving at 6:00 p.m. No matter what your taste buds prefer, there will be something for everyone with options ranging from Slice of the Hill, Steak Louie, The Meltdown, Destination Desserts, and more. While you sit back and enjoy your meal, you can listen to a variety of music and artists that will be playing before the film starts, such as Brothers Lazaroff and iLLPHONiCS. Free public parking is available throughout the area.
Each evening the movie will begin at 9:00 p.m. but you can always check out the museum before. When Friday night rolls around, be sure to grab your picnic blanket and appetites, and head to Art Hill. For more information you can go to bit.ly/TgCtLB
