Wednesday night of Food Wine Design was a burst of color, flavor and fun. It all started at the Lexus cocktail hour where mixologist Cory Cuff of Cielo created a sweet and salty sipper along with Spirits of Saint Louis. Guests were welcomed into Lumen Private Event Space with a pop of bright orange. Each table top was adorned with a burst of glowing orange roses shipped from Ecuador created by Petals by Irene. As guests approached the center of the room, a radiant glow was seen from the VIP table designed by Jamieson Interior Design. It may have been a cloudy night outside but inside at Food Wine Design it was bright.
As guests were seated, the stars of the evening, Adam Gnau of Acero and Vince Bommarito Jr. of Tony’s spoke of their entrées for the evening. Anticipation filled the room as first course was served, Ravioli with mushrooms and melted leek with truffle and butter paired with Tenuta Arceno Chianti Classico. Goose Island Matilda was the beer pairing. Guests savored each course exploring the different flavors with the perfectly complimented wine pairings. Dessert was a Tripolo Cioccolato Torta, paired with Kendall-Jackson Avant Red Blend. The Jazz St. Louis All-Stars entertained guests with classical, relaxing pieces. Jazz St. Louis was the evening’s charity partner and more than $4,000 was raised.
As guests headed home for the evening, another evening of Food Wine Design concluded a success. Check out party pics from the night HERE.
