There's no better way to warm up Winter than with a glass of good whiskey! Guests who attended Whiskey in the Winter on Saturday, November 23 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Downtown St. Louis not only got to taste whiskeys from all over the world, but immersed themselves in the history and future of the infamous spirit.
With over 200 whiskeys to taste, seminars by whiskey experts, whiskey-inspired food stations, and specialty whiskey cocktail bars, party-goers definitely had a full evening of fun. From Chivas, to Crown Royal, to Glenlivet and more, tasting tables allowed the true flavor and experience of drinking whiskey to come alive. Food stations provided an array of jaw-dropping culinary creations, ranging from local artisan cheese displays to bread pudding with a whiskey caramel sauce. And if the food & drink left the mind wandering, seminars held by ten speakers discussed whiskey elements from cooking with the spirit to the five sources of flavor. The wonderful night of whiskey never seemed to end, but definitely came to a close too soon.
