During the hustle and bustle of life, sometimes we forget what it's like to come together and enjoy each other's company. That's why the Saint Louis Art Museum created their Outdoor Film Series, held every Friday evening in July, giving friends and family the opportunity to relax with your favorite films in a gorgeous setting during the summer days.
The first movie in the series is on Friday, July 5. A favorite classic—Casablanca—will be shown on the plush lawn of Art Hill in Forest Park with soft lights from the St. Louis Art Museum in the background. But the party starts two hours prior with FEAST Magazine's Food Truck Fest at 7:00 p.m. Movie begins at 9:00 p.m. Crunchies and munchies will be provided by LuLu's Local Eatery, Sarah's Cake Stop, Seoul Taco, and more, providing the perfect snack to pair with the perfect movie. And while the food trucks serve their mouth-watering favorites, live music will be provided by the Sheldon Blues Band featuring Kim Massie. The best part about SLAM's Outdoor Film Series? It's free to attend. Yes, FREE!
So grab a date and a blanket and meet St. Louis Magazine on Art Hill for a relaxing, memorable evening. If you can't make it on July 5, don't fret. Here is the rest of the month's line-up. Attend one, attend them all.
Friday, July 12: West Side Story
