If you haven't been to Table Talk, St. Louis Magazine's unique dinner series featuring the best chefs in the city and great beer pairings by Goose Island, then you don't miss the last one of the year on Monday, November 18 from 6-9 p.m.! Chefs Marc Del Pietro and Brian Doherty of The Block in the Central West End have created a unique and intriguing menu completely inspired by their individual cooking styles. Despite the many Table Talk dining experiences held this year, these local chefs have come up with an exciting five-course meal and can't wait to show off their culinary skills in the kitchen!
With so many fresh ingredients brought into their work space, Chef Marc Del Pietro and Chef Brian Doherty will make a meal that is worth waiting for. The first course will consist of a housemade mortadella salad, followed by a succulent Hoegaarden poached halibut for the second course, and sous vide pork tenderloin for the third. While you are trying to control your salivating mouth, the fourth course consists of tongue & cheek and the meal is topped off with local apple upside down cake for dessert. With each course, you will have the opportunity to taste the perfect pairings including Sofie, Hoegaarden, Leffe Brune, Goose Island Nut Brown Ale, and Stella Artois Cidre.
