ST. LOUIS, MO – March 15, 2013 – St. Louis Magazine is proud to announce the return of Food Wine Design, a weeklong dinner series that focuses on the city’s culinary and design talent. Food Wine Design Culinary Week, presented by Lexus, takes place Monday, May 13, through Friday, May 17, at Lumen Private Event Space (2201 Locust Street, St. Louis, Mo. 63103). Food Wine Design was introduced in June 2011 and has raised more than $33,000 for local charities in the past two years. This unforgettable dining experience offers food lovers a truly unique and memorable meal created by the city’s most celebrated chefs.
Each dinner highlights two esteemed chefs from St. Louis’ best local restaurants, three tabletop designers, carefully selected wine and beer pairings, a creative mixologist, and a talented entertainer. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Food Outreach, the only St. Louis area organization whose mission is to provide nutritional support, individualized dietetic counseling and nutrition education to enhance the quality of life of thousands of low-income men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS or Cancer each year.
