ST. LOUIS, MO – June 14, 2012 – St. Louis Magazine was honored to take home six first-place awards and six finalist awards at the Missouri Association of Publications’ 2012 Ranly Awards ceremony. The winners, selected for excellence in journalism in print and online, were announced at the annual conference on June 13 in Columbia, Mo.
The awards were divided into four categories, including magazines, newsletters, electronic communications, and photography. The judges’ panel comprises veteran journalists from across the country. In the category of consumer publications with a circulation of 25,000 or greater, St. Louis Magazine received the following awards:

The mission of the Missouri Association of Publications (MAP), in affiliation with the Missouri School of Journalism, is to promote excellence in publications by serving as an essential resource to its membership for continuing education, professional growth, and development and networking opportunities. MAP was founded in 2004 by a group of publications professionals with an interest in quality print and electronic publications. MAP serves as a professional organization for individuals, corporations (for-profit and nonprofit), industry associates, and journalism faculty and students.
In 2011, St. Louis Magazine won five first-place Ranly Awards. In addition, earlier this year, St. Louis Magazine received four first-place awards from the Great Plains Journalism Awards, and six finalist awards from the City and Regional Magazine Association (CRMA).
