February 6, 2013 -- St. Louis At Home will debut a cover-to-cover redesign with the Spring 2013 issue hitting subscribers’ mailboxes February 25. This is St. Louis At Home’s first redesign since the publication’s debut in Spring 2005.
“As St. Louis At Home celebrates its ninth year of publication, we felt it was a great time to revamp, revise, and reinvigorate,” says Editor-in-Chief Christy Marshall. “The new and vastly improved layout is brilliant. It’s bright, easy-to-read, and packed with ideas. I hope everyone enjoys reading it as much as we enjoyed putting it together.”
The redesign effort, led by Editor-in-Chief Christy Marshall and Art Director Lindsay Hotz Timme, represents more than six months of work by the magazine’s staff. Previously a bimonthly publication, the all-new St. Louis At Home is now quarterly, and each issue focuses on one inspirational topic. The Spring 2013 issue focuses on all things culinary—taking an in-depth look at the local food-and-drink scene, recipes, kitchens, and entertaining ideas. Each of the next three issues takes on a different theme.
The redesign includes a complete restructuring of the magazine. Features of the redesign include a new logo and identity, a new look and feel, more photography, new departments, and a fresh editorial approach that goes in-depth on one topic.
“Our goal is to provide our readers with new ways to enjoy their home, whether it’s a penthouse in the Central West End or a South City bungalow,” says Publisher Leslie Tunney. “The magazine’s fresh, lively new look and focus demonstrate our commitment to both readers and our clients, who can now enjoy St. Louis At Home more than ever.”
In 2013, St. Louis At Home is included in all St. Louis Magazine subscriptions as a reader-bonus and will be available on stlmag.com for single-copy orders. Subscribe to the all-new St. Louis At Home or to pre-order a single copy, call 314.918.3006.
The all-new St. Louis At Home will be celebrated at an invitation-only event set for February 25 at the Restaurants at the Cheshire.
