ST. LOUIS, MO – JUNE 6, 2011 – Jan Leach has been named style editor at St. Louis Magazine. Leach has nearly 10 years of professional experience with fashion, styling, and beauty that she brings to the publication.
“I am elated to join the dynamic team at St. Louis Magazine,” she says.
Leach began her career in fashion as an assistant buyer at Neiman Marcus in Dallas after graduating from the University of Tennessee. In 2005, she launched a women’s denim line, which she moved to Los Angeles the following year. She has managed West Coast wholesale operations for BCBG and Rock & Republic, served as a men’s and women’s buyer for a chain of boutiques in southern California, and managed the national high-end boutique Intermix in Dallas. Leach also has styled athletes, actors, and musicians for commercials, editorial fashion shoots, movie premieres, and public appearances.
Leach currently runs her own business as a fashion stylist, personal shopper, and retail consultant. She has been featured on KPLR and KMOV as a contributing stylist. In addition, she serves as the public relations chair on the 2011-12 board of Fashion Group International of St. Louis and is a member of the Professional Women’s Alliance. Leach lives in St. Peters with her boyfriend and their dog, Brinkley.
