Engines were revved up and guests were dressed-to-impress at this year's St. Louis Auto Show Charity Gala: Pistons & Pearls, sponsored by St. Louis Auto Source and partners with St. Louis Magazine and many more. Held every year as a charity event for several outstanding organizations, this year was all about having fun with good company, and most importantly: cars!
The auto show gala gave guests an excited atmosphere as live music was provided by Accolade, while performance artist Dave Dunn created three amazing works of art on the spot that were auctioned off for proceeds. VIP ticket holders were treated like royalty, with unlimited drinks, beer provided by Budweiser Select and Stella Artois, free valet parking, heavy hor d'oeuvres, and an exclusive viewing of the Million Dollar Mile. But the fun didn't stop there! Those guests who wanted to keep the good time going headed out to The Pepper Lounge for an incredible after party.
One of the night's tastier treats was presented by partners Sub Zero Vodka Bar, The Cup, The Tenderloin Room, and Kakao Chocolate. These businesses coupled up and offered delicious "Sips & Sweets" that everyone could enjoy. The evening's pairings included:
Coffee Bean & Cocoa Nibs Infused Vodka, with Home-Size Cupcakes Selbach Piesporter ’11 Reisling - Mosel, GE White, with Chai Tea Truffles Cabernet Sauvignon Red Blend - Syrah, Tannat, with Turkish Coffee Truffles Sparkling Italian Champagne, with Curry Truffles
The most significant part of the evening though, was benefiting local charities who do so much for the community. The proceeds raised from the gala were donated to:
The Boys & Girls Club of Greater St. Louis
National Multiple Sclerosis Society
St. Louis Auto Dealers Charitable Foundation
TASK (Team Activities for Special Kids)
After a night to remember, guests made amazing memories and are looking forward to helping local organizations at next year's charity gala.
