The 6th Annual Wine and Chocolate event hosted by Fresh 102.5 took place last night at the Foundry Art Centre in St. Charles. With a guest turnout of over 200 people, the SLU Care Heart Month awareness benefit delivered a good time, tasty treats and great drinks from local wineries.
From 5-9p.m. guests decked out in their best red threads navigated the Foundry while indulging in decadent chocolate samplings that were paired with the finest wine from local distributors. Guests also had the opportunity to participate in silent auctions, shopping and numerous free give-aways from a variety of vendors. Another perk of attending this exclusive event was the opportunity to view the hard work and talent of Lindenwood University graduate students. Several fashion majors displayed their collections via fashion shows that took place over the course of the evening.
It is safe to say that the night of fun was a huge success. Not only did attendees reap the rewards of delicious treats, freebies, and fashion, but the American Heart Association came out on top too. A portion of the proceeds from the affair went to the cardiac care non-profit.
Considering the turn out and attendance prizes, this event is one to put in the books! Be sure to remember the Wine & Chocolate celebration in 2015.
