Ladies, look no further: the best girls' night out is back again just in time for Spring! Old Bags™, the most looked-forward to Designer Handbag Auction, is putting the purse back in party this April 30 with St. Louis Magazine at the Frontenac Hilton Hotel.
Hosted by Foster & Adoptive Care Coalition, Old Bags™ is an event that helps foster children find a forever family, and designer handbags find a new home! The auction will not only have new and gently-used handbags to bid on, but glitzy and glamorous jewelry as well. And along with the fun of finding a new purse with your gal pals, you'll enjoy specialty drinks, delicious appetizers, and decadent chocolates.
If you thought indulging in scrumptious food and trendy designer bags was enough, then you'll love the raffle prize donated by Neiman Marcus. Tickets to win the Prada "Vitello Daino" large pocket hobo bag in beige (pictured below) - worth nearly $1,600 - are only $25!
In 2012, Old Bags™ raised nearly $113,000 in proceeds benefiting foster children looking for their forever family - but proceeds weren't the only thing donated! All of the designer handbags being auctioned at the girls' night out are kindly given to the Foster & Adoptive Care Coalition by designers and purse-lovers alike.
