Carlos Beltran of the St. Louis Cardinals, in partnership with the Four Seasons Hotel and St. Louis Magazine, will host A Night in Old Jan Juan at the Four Season Hotel St. Louis on September 5, 2012 from 6-9 p.m.. This Latin-themed event will take you on a journey to Puerto Rico through authentic cuisine, music, exotic rum tastings, Dos Equis beer, and fine cigars. There will be live music with two dance numbers performed by two celebrity dancers from ABC’s Dancing with the Stars. A live and silent auction featuring sports memorabilia, vacation packages, and several other great items will be available to the highest bidders. KSDK sportscaster, Rene Knott, will serve as emcee for the evening. In addition to Carlos Beltran himself, some of your local favorite sport legends from the NFL, NBA, NHL, and MLB will be in attendance.
The event aims to raise money for the Carlos Beltran Foundation, which promotes programs that encourage children and adolescence from lower income families to become well-rounded individuals and teach them to take control of their future by way of sports and education. A Night in Old San Juan is sponsored by St. Louis Magazine, The Four Seasons Hotel St. Louis, Dos Equis, DonQ Rum, FreeMan Marketing, Magnolia’s, Big Idea Studio, and Davidoff.
